R&D Operations
The majority of the R&D activities take place in our laboratories, which are located at 2900 N. Huron Parkway, Ann Arbor, Michigan. The facility occupies 600 sq ft and is fully equipped with state-of-the-art equipments for molecular biological and immunological studies. There are also some shared space and equipment including an autoclave room for sterilizing lab materials, a glassware washing service, and a water purification system, and floor model centrifuges.
OncoImmune has a dedicated 1300 sq ft animal facility housing rodent for preclinical testing. The attending veterinarians administer the animal facilities and oversee all aspects of animal care. The animal care programs at OncoImmune for housing, caging, feeding, sanitation, etc., follow guidelines established by The Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals, 1985. These programs are outlined specifically in the form of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). These SOPs are reviewed and updated semi-annually by a committee including at least one attending veterinarian, facility manager, and animal caretaker.
